DIRECTORS

Trevor Kokkinakis – Director – B.E., CP.Eng.

Trevor is a founding partner of TMK Consulting Engineers and provides structural, civil, geotechnical and environmental engineering advice.

He is a Civil and Structural Engineer, and is a Registered Building Practitioner in the Northern Territory in the category of 'Certifying Structural Engineer (Cyclonic)' and is a pioneer of the tilt-up construction method in South Australia and founding member of the Tilt-Up Construction Association of South Australia. He holds memberships and registration with several industry institutions and associations, including the Institution of Engineers Australia.

Trevor is responsible for client liaison, formulation of practice policy and overseeing each phase of project delivery. Trevor is head of TMK's environmental and geotechnical disciplines and construction surveillance; and is responsible for the design, documentation and supervision of the structural and civil construction components of commercial, industrial and residential developments.

He also sits on several technical and community committees and Boards including the Board of the Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia.

Michael Talladira – Managing Director – B.E. (Hons), Grad.Dip Mun.Eng, CP.Eng.

Michael is one of the 1984 founding partners of TMK Consulting, a multi-disciplinary practice based solely in South Australia. Michael is a Civil and Structural Engineer and is registered with various industry Institutions and Associations throughout South Australia, Victoria and Queensland.

In his role as Managing Director, Michael plays a key role in the formulation of design policies, procedures, standards and processes at TMK.  He has proven abilities in the areas of design, management and construction administration for residential and commercial projects.

Michael is responsible for Client liaison and relationship building and is the lead for the business in delivering innovation initiatives through sound project management principles.  He is also responsible for ensuring that the implementation of systemic processes occurs throughout the business.

Luigi Ienco – Director – B.E., CP.Eng.

Luigi joined TMK in 1991 to commence building services (mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulic) in the firm and now heads these disciplines.

Luigi is a corporate member of the Institute of Engineers Australia; a Registered Building Practitioner (NT), as a mechanical and fire engineer; and a Registered Building Practitioner, Victoria (mechanical, fire and electrical engineer).

He has a mechanical engineering degree with an understanding in a number of disciplines, and also industrial engineering. He has been involved with leading teams and is responsible for design, documentation, construction surveillance and contract administration on a variety of projects, from high-rise buildings to materials handling systems and plant design.

He has a hands-on active management style and focuses on client needs. His time is predominantly spent on business development, technical direction, training of staff and finance issues. He is instrumental in the formulation of design policies and procedures at TMK.

SENIOR ASSOCIATES / TEAM LEADERS

Greg Caruso – Senior Associate / Team Leader – B.E.

Greg has worked at TMK Consulting Engineers as a Mechanical Services Engineer since 1995 and is a Senior Associate. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Australia and is responsible for the design, documentation and construction supervision of mechanical, fire and acoustic engineering at TMK.

He has provided expertise in commercial and government projects involving air conditioning, ventilation, fire, and acoustics design. He has undertaken the design and documentation of air conditioning, ventilation, sprinkler systems, acoustics, fire services, hydrants, hose reels, smoke spill systems, and overhead crane systems. Greg also manages the process for energy audit reports.

Tony Garreffa – Senior Associate / Team Leader – B.E. (Hons)

Anthony (Tony) Garreffa has been employed as a Structural Engineer by TMK since 1993. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Adelaide University.

Tony is a project leader and civil/structural coordinator who provides design documentation and construction supervision expertise in all forms of construction - steel, concrete, precast (including tilt-up), timber and masonry for residential, commercial and multi-storey projects.

He is also instrumental in mentoring new engineering employees in technical engineering aspects.

Andrew Martin – Senior Associate / Team Leader – B.E. (Hons)

Andrew has over 20 years engineering design experience with a broad range of expertise in commercial, residential, industrial and government projects.

He currently heads the structural department and has been, and continues to be, responsible for the delivery of many of TMK's major projects, including the Air Apartments, Tivoli Hotel, Copper Cove Tavern and Fisher Street Apartments.
TMK's clients have confidence that their project needs will be understood, with appropriate engineering solutions provided and their expectations met and exceeded.

Carlo Talladira – Senior Associate / Team Leader – Adv.Dip. Civ.Eng

Carlo has worked for TMK Consulting Engineers since 1989. He is a Civil Engineer and Senior Associate, and has been responsible for developing design procedures, standards and policies for TMK's Civil Department. He heads its Urban Development component. This also includes managing a team of engineers and drafters, regulating department work flow and monitoring performance.

His responsibilities as Project Engineer on developments include civil design documentation, construction surveillance and contract administration for domestic, commercial and government; designing lifestyle villages; various land divisions; and infrastructure upgrades.

The land division and lifestyle villages include earthworks, road design, pavement design, sewer, stormwater quality and quantity control measures including water sensitive urban design (WSUD), water design, and non-potable water design. Responsibility on these projects also includes coordination and knowledge of not only the civil but also structural, environmental, mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulics disciplines.

Raik Bosse – Senior Associate / Team Leader – B.E.

Raik has worked for TMK since May 2003 as a Civil / Structural Engineer and site inspector. His role as Senior Engineer and Team Leader includes construction supervision, documentation, and design assistance of projects varying from domestic to commercial, industrial and multistorey. As Manager, Forensic Section, his role consists of investigating building problems and reporting on causation and specification of appropriate remedial work for insurance companies, solicitors, builders and private clients.

Raik provides assistance throughout the construction phase, documentation and supervision of multi-level commercial, industrial and domestic structures, including steel, concrete, precast (including tilt-up), timber and masonry projects. He presently leads a team of structural engineers and technical officers in consulting to the construction industry.

TEAM LEADERS

John Weber - Environmental Team Leader - M.S. (soil physics/chem)

John Weber is the senior environmental scientist and Environmental Team Leader for TMK Consulting Engineers, he holds a Masters of Science (Plant and Soil Science –(soil physics & soil microbiology)) and is a member of the Waste Management Working Group – Conservation Council of South Australia.

John has extensive experience in United States and Australia, in particular was the Senior Research Coordinator, Savannah River Ecology Lab, USA and Research Scientist, Centre for Environmental Risk Assessment & Remediation and Project Manager at the University of South Australia. He has over 50 scientific publications to his name and he has presented some of his research at both domestic and international conferences including the likes of the Battelle conference on Chlorinated and Recalcitrant compounds, the International Contaminated Site Remediation Conference, the International Workshop on Chemical Bioavailability as well as at the International Conference of Biogeochemistry of Trace Elements.

John is responsible for the management of the Environmental Department and the investigation, planning, design and project management of environmental projects.
